Caring for your Cyberlox Falls
Cyberlox falls are easy to care for, but there are a few things you should know to keep your falls in great condition:
ALWAYS check your falls before wearing!
- Because Ananya's Lox believes that you should be able to customize your falls, all of the materials used to make them are conveniently tied in for easy removal. These knots can loosen with wear and should be checked thoroughly prior to each wear to prevent loss of individual pieces.
If a lock begins to unravel
- All of your lox have been sealed to prevent unraveling. However, occasionally one of these seals may break or loosen. You can fix this problem by simply cutting off the damaged area and "resealing" the bottom with clear nail polish.
If you get a kink in a lock
- If you get a kink, simply work it lightly with your fingers until it disappears. Sometimes it may be necessary to remove the seal from the end and gently run the lock between pinched fingers from just above the kink to the end until the kink works itself out. Don't forget to reseal the bottom!
Storing your falls
- Your shipping carton can be used to store your falls between uses. Because foam kinks are very difficult to remove, be sure that you have not pinched your foam under the lid. If you are lucky enough to have extra closet space, you may also tie your lace in loops and slip them over a hanger. Be sure that you have enough space around your falls that they are not being crushed by clothes!
NEVER put your falls in the washer or dryer!
- If your falls pick up an odor such as smoke or perfume, simply hang them in a well ventilated area to "air out." You may also choose to lightly spray your falls with a mild detergent such as Febreeze.
